A greeting from President Michael Jinkins
(continued)
I know that so many lives are touched by those who study at Louisville Seminary to become pastors, educators, counselors, chaplains, and leaders in the Church. The pastor of my own home church enabled me to discern my calling to ministry. And I know that many of you serve where you do today because of the guidance of other who took an interest in you.
If you are a new to Louisville Seminary, perhaps your life has been touched by one of our graduates; or, perhaps you are looking for opportunities to develop your faith and witness on behalf of the Church. These web pages will provide resources as you discern your own participation in these endeavors and more. If we can be of more assistance, please contact Dale Melton, Vice President for Seminary Relations, at dmelton@lpts.edu or 502-992-9347.
Finally, I would ask a couple things of you. Please continue to lift up, without ceasing, in your thoughts and prayers our students and the dedicated faculty who work with them to prepare them for service in the Church and throughout the world. Additionally, identify, affirm, and enable men and women with the gifts and graces for ministry to consider their own calling—and then send them on to Seminary! That is a particular calling all of us share. Please partner with us in identifying resources to enable this bold mission and strong vision to move forward in service of Jesus Christ.
Sincerely,
