President Dean K. Thompson has appointed Professor Dianne Reistroffer
to serve as Officer of Institutional Research and Effectiveness for Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. In collaboration with administrators, faculty, staff, and trustees, the new position will serve as a resource in establishing systems for monitoring and evaluating resources and effectiveness in the Seminary’s Strategic Plan, institutional programs, policies, procedures, and services.
“Dr. Reistroffer has participated in two Louisville Seminary reaccreditation procedures and served on several accreditation teams for the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) in the United States and Canada. Her extensive experience in educational assessment and her familiarity with accrediting agencies will assist our Seminary in setting goals and assessing results toward continuous institutional improvement and accreditation compliance and reporting,” said President Thompson.
Reistroffer has served on the Louisville Seminary faculty since 1998 and as Dean of the Seminary and Vice President for Academic Affairs from 1998 to 2005. She will continue to teach as Professor of Ministry and to direct the Methodist Studies Program at the Seminary.
