Due to an impending winter storm, Seminary offices will close and classes will be cancelled after 11:30 a.m., today. Afternoon events are also cancelled, unless indicated differently. Louisville Seminary anticipates opening Friday, February 22, with regular office hours and class schedules.
It is the practice of Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (LPTS) to follow the decision of the Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) regarding cancellations and delays due to weather conditions, which means if JCPS is closed, so is LPTS. If JCPS is on a two-hour delay, so is Louisville Seminary.
Louisville Seminary's schedule begins officially at 8:30 a.m.—a two hour delay means that offices would open at 10:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. classes, therefore, would be cancelled, and the first class of the day would begin at 11a.m.
Information about closings is posted on the local television and radio stations and the Seminary's website, and it is recorded on the Seminary's main switchboard greeting.
