Hi there. I am the Caldwell Chapel Worship Coordinator. By nurturing the spiritual and vocational formation of students as they prepare and lead worship, I seek to provide leadership through the weekly services, alongside the special services that occur throughout the year. Prior to joining Louisville Seminary, I served as Director of Worship at The Riverside Church in New York City. I earned degrees from Samford University (BA), majoring in religious studies and minoring in Women’s Leadership, and Fuller Theological Seminary (MDiv). I completed graduate coursework at Yale Divinity School and New York Theological Seminary as well. Currently, I am pursuing ordination through the United Church of Christ and am energized by seeking relevant ways to engage culture and promote justice through our corporate worship. Welcome to chapel!
Hey y'all, I am Whitney Franklin,1st year M.Div student. Prior to LPTS, I earned my BA in Pan African Studies from the UofL. I served as coordinator for the Nyleve's Haven service team and am a Servant Leader Intern with the Childrens Defense Fund Freedom Schools. I am new to the worship coordinating world, so I ask for prayers and patience. I am excited to help create welcoming, diverse and loving chapel services. I am open to learning, listening and working together to uplift and share in an array of ways to worship. So if you want to chat, share words of wisdom or just want to have a good 'ole fashion laugh-session, I am here. Feel free to contact me firstname.lastname@example.org. Looking forward to an AMAZING year in service together! Be Blessed!
