Lauren Mayfield

Hi there. I am the Caldwell Chapel Worship Coordinator. By nurturing the spiritual and vocational formation of students as they prepare and lead worship, I seek to provide leadership through the weekly services, alongside the special services that occur throughout the year. Prior to joining Louisville Seminary, I served as Director of Worship at The Riverside Church in New York City. I earned degrees from Samford University (BA), majoring in religious studies and minoring in Women’s Leadership, and Fuller Theological Seminary (MDiv). I completed graduate coursework at Yale Divinity School and New York Theological Seminary as well. Currently, I am pursuing ordination through the United Church of Christ and am energized by seeking relevant ways to engage culture and promote justice through our corporate worship.
