The Phillips Talbot Global Ministry Fellowship is a partnership between Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City and Theological Education by Extension Zambia (TEEZ). TEEZ is an ecumenical project to help answer the leadership shortage in Zambia by training tutors who can lead classes on scripture, theology, and skills for ministry (preaching, counseling, administration) in local churches throughout Zambia. The first months of the Fellowship are spent at Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church, followed by approximately 12 months in Zambia, where Fellows will lead theology trainings and serve in various congregations. The following three months are spent on a fully funded and independently chosen journey through parts of the global south.
