Sunday, December 9, 2012, was the first Sunday Andy Clark (MDiv '09) preached at his new call, Interim Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in
Mt. Vernon, Illinois, in Southeastern Illinois Presbytery.

On September 30, 2012, Rick Upchurch (MDiv '06) was ordained at his home church, First Presbyterian Church in Frankfort, KY. Rick has been called by First Presbyterian Church of Foley, Alabama, to serve as their Designated Associate Pastor.

On September 22, 2012, Brenda Burney (MDiv '03) was installed as Pastor and Teacher at St. Stephen United Church of Christ in Louisville, KY.

On Sunday, June 24, 2012, Ray Douglas (MDiv '00) married Nicole A. Johnson at John Wesley AME Zion Church in Washington, DC. The couple honeymooned in Belize. Then, on Sunday, September 22, 2012, the congregation Ray organized in southwest Washington, DC, Deliverance Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, celebrated its one year anniversary. To top it off, Ray and Nicole are expecting their first child in April 2013.

On September 16, 2012, Emily Miller (MDiv '09) began her new call as Associate Pastor of Family and Campus Ministry at The Presbyterian Church of Radford, Virginia. She will be ministering with families at the church and students at Radford University.

Jake Hofmeister (MDiv '07), began his Doctor of Ministry with a concentration on Ministry in the Multifaith Context through Auburn Seminary and New York Theological Seminary in September 2012.

On August 11, 2012, Lisa Hermann (MDiv '09) was ordained at First Presbyterian Church in Kinston, NC. She serves as a hospital chaplain at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Lavender Kelley (MDiv '06) was elected to the board of the Pediatric Chaplains Network. She continues to serve as a chaplain at what was formerly Children’s Memorial Hospital, now called the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

In August 2011, Cindy Guertin (MAMFT '07) began serving as a Clinical Manager and Program Manager at Maryhurst School in Louisville, KY.

On July 12, 2012, Burnetta Barton Armour (MDiv '09) and her husband James welcomed a son, Collin James Armour, into their family. Burnetta is still serving as the pastor of Millersburg First and Clark Community Presbyterian Churches in Millersburg, OH.
