In 2013, Rebecca Tollefson (MDiv '81), (pictured, center) begins her 16th year with the Ohio Council of Churches. For the past 2 ½ years, she has been serving as moderator of the session of Ramseyer Presbyterian Church in Columbus, Ohio, a congregation whose members are primarily from Ghana, in West Africa. Rebecca says, "Baptisms, birthday celebrations, special offerings, first communions, and giving thanks to God for those who have died in the faith are all aspects of Ramseyer’s ministries. The congregation was chartered in 2006 and moved into their own first building in August, 2011."

Since graduating from LPTS, Patricia Rae Kessel (formerly McCandless) (MDiv '89) has served four United Methodist Church parishes in Indiana, retiring in 2001 and moving to Portland, Oregon. Since retiring she's served in eight United Methodist Church interim positions and is presently serving part-time in an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America parish.

In March of 2011, Joy Trautman Fisher (MDiv '89) began serving as a congregational consultant, on the staff of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, connecting and resourcing congregations in leadership development and church growth/revitalization. She and her husband, David, live in Stockbridge, Georgia, with their two children, Annemarie and Jonathan.
