Mark (MDiv ’76, DMin ’85) and Cheryl (MDiv ’77) Goodman-Morris retired as pastors of Valley Presbyterian Church in Portola Valley, California, after nearly 29 years of service. Mark serves on the Louisville Seminary Alum Board of Directors and as the alum representative on the Louisville Seminary Board of Trustees. Mark and Cheryl are currently transitioning to their new home in Ashland, Oregon.
Tom Parsons (MDiv ’77) published his second book of poems, The Haitian Chronicles: Poetic Reflections on 15 Years of Visiting the Land (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, 2015). The collection reflects on Tom’s travels to and work in Haiti. The poems are about the people and places Tom and his wife, JoEllen, encountered during 15 years of ministry in this economically poor but spiritually rich nation. All profits from the book will be used to support the Haiti Mission School.
Drew Holloway (MDiv ’79) retired from ministry with Effingham Presbyterian Church in Effingham, Illinois. Drew served 24 years at Effingham and more than 30 years in ordained ministry. He and his wife, Anne Jones (MDiv ’79), recently retired as an executive presbyter.
