Alum Association
Four female graduates of Louisville Seminary

Louisville Seminary is proud of its nearly 2,200 alums, 70% of whom are serving in active ministry throughout the world as pastors, counselors, administrators, teachers, and leaders in the church.

All alums are considered members of the Alum Association.

The purpose of the Louisville Seminary Alum Association is:

  • to promote fellowship among alums.
  • to provide alums a channel to the decision-making process of the Seminary, especially continuing education policy and events.
  • to promote communication and dialogue between the Seminary, local congregations, and middle judicatories, which will result in acceptance of our common responsibilities for providing quality theological education through Louisville Seminary.
  • to develop financial support of the Seminary, including individual and local church annual giving, living donor giving for endowments, deferred giving through annuities and other means by which LPTS can be the servant of the Church.
Some of the ways you can fulfill this purpose:
  • Attend Reunion and other opportunities for fellowship with alums
  • Support the work of your Alum Board
  • Promote Louisville Seminary by recommending us to prospective students
  • Share your resources—both personal and professional— by introducing Louisville Seminary to those you know and serve.
The Alum Association is currently served by Judy Johnston, director of the annual fund in the Office of Institutional Advancement. If you have questions, ideas, or want to become involved in any way, contact jjohnston@lpts.edu.
