On-campus visits are encouraged as a part of your decision-making process. Experience first-hand the community at Louisville Seminary by meeting with faculty, students and staff. Attend classes, tour the campus, join the community in worship and explore metropolitan Louisville.
Spring: March 3-4, 2017 | Fall: October 6-7, 2017
Exploratory Weekends are held twice each year and are designed to give prospective master’s-level* students a glimpse into the Louisville Seminary experience. You will have the opportunity to meet with seminary students, faculty, administrators and staff; visit classes; attend chapel; and talk about preparing for seminary, financing a seminary education, charting an academic plan, ministry as a second vocation, dual degrees, caring for families while in seminary, going directly from college to seminary and women in ministry. All meals and accommodations (including up to two nights in our on campus lodge for out-of-town guests) will be provided. A travel stipend is available to first-time visitors.

If you cannot visit us at one of our Exploratory Weekends, call 800.264.1839 to schedule an individual visit or complete the form below. To help provide you with the best experience, please schedule your visit two weeks prior to your arrival date. A travel stipend is available to first-time visitors.
Out-of-town visitors may stay in our Laws Lodge Retreat and Conference Center
. Attend classes and worship (when in session), enjoy informal conversation with faculty and students, meet with administrators and staff and tour the campus including our seminary housing.
Individual Visit Request Form
Special arrangements for groups are available. We will reimburse your gas expense up to $200 when three or more prospective students are accompanied by a group sponsor. Group visits require a two-week notice.
