has been named Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary's new director of recruitment and admissions. In this capacity, Grant is responsible for designing and implementing strategies for recruiting students, facilitating and managing the admissions process of applicants, planning and leading orientation for new students, and working with communications personnel to design recruiting materials and update admissions-related web pages and social networking sites.
Since 2012, Grant has been serving as assistant director of recruitment at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (Evanston, Ill.), traveling extensively and helping Garrett-Evangelical to carry out all aspects of their admissions process. He has a Master of Divinity degree from that institution and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Howard University.
Grant is highly accomplished in digital communications. Following his graduation from seminary, he served as the first “Digi-Pastor” at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, where he helped that church increase its online presence and outreach.
Grant is also a photographer and a poet and strives to carry out all his work (including his work in recruitment and admissions) with “dedicated, artistic inventiveness.” Grant will be arriving on Louisville Seminary's campus in late August (precise date still to be determined). Please welcome him and support him in his important work for our school!
