Gifts for Current Operations
The
Seminary always needs gifts for current operations. Such contributions
are allocated where most needed in the current budget year.
They provide for scholarship aid; book purchase support for
students; faculty salaries; office, classroom and campus maintenance;
library and technology resources; general operating costs;
security costs; etc.
- A
gift of $500 will purchase nearly all the textbooks one
student might need in one semester of study. Gifts of any
amount designated for the Bookends Fund help to defray costs of textbooks. Building a lifetime study
library is crucial for students preparing for ministry.

 |
- A
gift of $1,200 will cover the cost of a four-credit course such as Christian Historical and Theological Studies, in
which perennial and recent theological issues are addressed
through the use of well-founded theological reflection;
or An Introduction to Practical Theology, which introduces
students to practical theology as disciplined reflection
on the church's life and ministry informed by both theological
and 'secular' disciplines.
|
- A retreat for the purpose of spiritual formation for
75 students with a speaker may be sponsored for agift of
$2,500.
- A
gift can cover the expenses of a conference speaker ($1,500)
