In 2003, Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary celebrated its 150th anniversary. In recognition of this historical event, LPTS alum Rick Nutt published Many Lamps, One Light: Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary - A 150th Anniversary History (Eerdmans), and nationally recognized hymn writer Thomas Troeger was commissioned to create a new Seminary hymn, There Is a Dream that Thrills God's Heart, to the tune BRAY, a shape note melody indigenous to Kentucky. The hymn tune was arranged in four part harmony and as an anthem by Bruce Neswick.
