Alum Association > Board Member Responsibilities

  1. Support the Seminary through:
    • Prayer for students, faculty and all staff
    • Recommend LPTS to students.
    • Make at least one annual gift to the Alum portion of the Annual Fund.
    • representing Seminary at functions
  2. Participate in Annual Alum Board Meetings which are held during the Reunion/Festival of Theology each spring (March 11– 14, 2007). If you are an officer or a committee chair, you will participate in the Alum Board Executive Committee Conference Call each fall.

  3. Serve on committee assigned by Alum Board president. Standing committees of the Alum Board include: Seminary Relations, Nominating, Academic, Communications and Recruitment. Committees meetings are a part of the Board Meetings held during the Alum Reunion.

  4. Be willing to serve as a contact person for alums and prospective students

  5. Advocate for Louisville Seminary in all appropriate denominational settings and personal and public opportunities.
