Alums > Alum Association

Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary is proud of its nearly 2,200 active alums serving throughout the nation and the world, with 70% in active ministry. If you exclude retirees, the percentage jumps to more than 85% in active ministry. If you are an alum of Louisville Seminary, you are a member of the Alum Association!

The purpose of the LPTS Alum Association is:

  • to promote fellowship among alums.
  • to provide alums a channel to the decision-making process of the Seminary, especially continuing education policy and events.
  • to promote communication and dialogue between the Seminary, local congregations, and middle judicatories, which will result in acceptance of our common responsibilities for providing quality theological education through LPTS.
  • to develop financial support of the Seminary, including individual and local church annual giving, living donor giving for endowments, deferred giving through annuities and other means by which LPTS can be the servant of the Church.

Some of the ways you can fulfill this purpose:

  • Attend Reunion and other opportunities for fellowship with alums
  • Participate in and support the Alum Board
  • Promote Louisville Seminary by bringing prospective students to campus
  • Share your resources—both personal and professional— by opening door to the Seminary for those you know and serve.

The Alum Association is served by the Office of Alum & Church Relations. Rev. Leah Ellison Bradley (MDiv '97) was called as director in August 2007. Lisa Kolb has been the coordinator for Alum Relations since May 2000.

Both are eager to serve and assist you.  Please contact them if you want to become involved in any way with Louisville Seminary's Alum Association:  lbradley@lpts.edu or lkolb@lpts.edu.
