the history of Louisville Seminary, as a Presbyterian and Reformed theological school, has been committed to an ecumenical perspective that values relationships with communities of faith whose theological, social, and religious perspectives are distinctly different from one another. DOORS to
DIALOGUE
Doors to Dialogue is an integral part of the Louisville Seminary curriculum intended to enhance student formation through a process that addresses cognitive, experiential, and vocational dimensions of learning.

Expected Student
Learning Outcomes:
Ability to describe and articulate important characteristics of the history, traditions, practices, and perspectives of at least one religious tradition other than Christianity and one Christian ecclesial tradition other than their own;
Ability to articulate, orally and in writing, their own theological perspective, including a theology of ministry, mindful of their distinctive ecclesial tradition and the global, multicultural, multireligious context of contemporary ministry; and
Ability to participate in intra-Christian and interreligious dialogue constructively, with appreciation and respect, as evidenced by a demonstrated ability to articulate the views of their dialogue partners and to identify similarities and differences with their own.
