The Strategic Plan > The Strategic Planning Committee

In October 2010, the Board of Trustees asked President Michael Jinkins to form a Strategic Planning Committee for the Seminary. The committee included trustees, faculty, administrators, staff, the student body president, and a church leader. The committee conducted a community-wide feedback event, as well as an additional student focus group, and  a research project seeking to learn what the church expects our graduates to know and be able to do. The committee also issued an invitation for proposals for specific programs that might be considered for the Seminary's strategic plan. The committee listened, deliberated, and analyzed the results of its research and the proposals it received. They worked for a year to develop the plan which they recommended to the Board of Trustees at its October board meeting, 2011.
