In 2005, The Strategic Planning Committee was charged with presenting to the Board of Trustees, at its April 2006 meeting, a final report on the third major strategic planning process in Louisville Seminary's history. The plan covered years 2006-2010. The report contained 10 Strategic Planning Visioning Statements, with an accompanying 13 Action Items. The report was approved unanimously by the Board.

The Strategic Planning Committee was dissolved with the Board's appreciation and the Vision & Mission Committee was formed to carry out the work of the plan.

Achievements/Accomplishments:

100% Attendance by all committee members over 8 months and 5 meetings
Final Report to Board on time at April 2006 meeting
Shorter, more streamlined plan (3-4 years, covering only ten major visioning statements from a more efficient committee process)
