The planning committee for the 150th Anniversary of Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary has dedicated nearly 18 months to preparing a year-long celebration with several goals in mind:

• To build upon and generate new pride in Louisville Seminary
• To enhance the image and accessibility of Louisville Seminary with alumni/ae, prospective students, friends of the Seminary and supporters, employees, congregations and individuals in the Louisville community and surrounding states.
• To celebrate a grand birthday!

To meet these goals, the committee has put together an array of events that collectively portray the richness of this learning community that is Louisville Seminary. Each event is offered in gratitude for the many relationships that have sustained Louisville Seminary during its 150 years.

You are invited to explore the numerous events that will comprise this anniversary year: special concerts, the debut of a new hymn, workshops for parents and practitioners in family ministry, lectures on American religion, theological education, children and families, Christian discipleship, and the spiritual power of music in the church, just to name a few. Or reserve your place for one of two international study tours: the Journeys of Paul, or Presbyterian Heritage in Scotland. The year-long celebration will culminate on April 25, 2003, with a worship service and the 150th Anniversary Address by President John M. Mulder.
